2020 Denman Wildlife Area 3D Archery Event

This event is brought to you by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Oregon Hunters Association. Thanks to all the volunteers and staff, and you the participant that make this day happen!

You must be pre-registered to attend this family friendly event. If you are 17 years of age or under, you must have an adult accompany you at the event. The supervising adult does not have to shoot or be pre-registered.

  • All participants and observers will need to sign a liability waiver. 
  • Due to concerns over potential spreading of COVID 19 (Corona Virus), we are asking participants to practice social distancing of at least 6 feet (especially between people of different parties).
  • We strongly recommend the use of masks. 
  • Information provided by participants for the liability waiver must be current, and may be used for contact tracing in the event that anyone becomes symptomatic and test positive for Corona Virus after the event.
  • We ask that anyone that is sick please do not attend this event.

Cost: This event is $10 per participant due at the event. Cash only day of event. Exact change needed.

We are offering 3 separate staggered start times: 7:30am, 8:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am. Event ends at 1:00pm

Description of Event: This event features 40 3-D animal targets on a 2 mile course where participants walk the course.  Participants will be required to walk on maintained trails and gravel roads.  Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for Oregon Outdoor Weather. Targets are numbered and the course is marked.  Maps are available at the registration booth.  Participants shoot up to 2 shots per target, distances vary from 10 to 100 yard with a focus on targets ranging from 10 to 60 yards. The course is located on Denman Wildlife Area on the Military Slough tract, behind the green gate on Touvelle Road (course and registration booth are located at the end of Tourvelle road on the left or North side).  Porta-pottis are available at central locations along the course. You must bring your own equipment and lunch, snacks, and hydration drinks. We will not be serving lunch.
