Join South Slough Estuarine Reserve volunteers at a clam/crab seminar! All beginner or even expert shellfishers welcome!!!

Class is FREE and involves a 90 minute discussion and powerpoint + morning dig on September 8th (remember your shellfish license, bucket, and shovel!)

We are excited to teach:

  • Clam digging tips
  • Cleaning Clams
  • Cooking Clams
  • Clam/Crab ID, biology, ODFW regulations
  • Clam/Crab handling, and measuring
