Learn to Hunt - Duck Hunting Workshop - Turner, OR - EVENT FULL, WAIT LIST OPEN

This workshop is full. To get on the wait list, please e-mail event organizer. We will notify you of any spots that open and keep you updated about duck workshops that we offer in the future.

Have you ever considered duck hunting but don’t know where to start? In this workshop you’ll learn duck hunting basics from ODFW staff and experienced local hunters. The day will start at dawn with a live hunt at a local duck club. During the morning hunt, you’ll get fast-paced and hands-on training. After the hunt, we’ll eat lunch, learn about waterfowl habitat and behavior from an ODFW biologist, field dress ducks so that they are ready for cooking and discuss next steps you can take to start hunting ducks on your own in Oregon.

This workshop is designed for new hunters – or people who have experience hunting other species but want to add duck hunting to their skill set. Not intended for experienced duck hunters.

Duck hunting is an authentic outdoor experience and classic connection to a sustainable, wild food source. Register today for a fun-filled morning on the duck pond.
