Young Oregon Hunter Day - Central Point!

The Rogue Valley Chapter of the Oregon Hunters Association and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife are pleased to announce Young Oregon Hunters Day (YOH Day)

A day filled with skills instruction and outdoor experience for Oregon's Youth!

Warm water fish will be stocked in the Denman Pond for this event. Learn map reading, fishing techniques, knot tying, pelt and track identification.·        To fish in the pond, Ages 12 – 17 years of age will need an annual Youth License for $10.00 which includes Angling, Hunting, Shellfish and Columbia River Basin Endorsement.

Learn the basics of trap shooting and archery from Oregon's volunteer Hunter Education Instructors. Coaches will be on hand at the range for one on one trap shooting instruction. Firearms, ammunition, bows and arrows will be provided for the range activity. Hunter Education is not required to participate. Make an Outdoor Day tshirt with your own color design - and take it home!

BBQ lunch will be provided by OHA with prizes awarded at the end of the day.
