Welcome to the Youth Turkey Hunting Clinic hosted by Oregon Hunters Association, Rogue Valley Chapter, partnered with Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife
Youth will spend the day learning turkey hunting skills and techniques: scouting, turkey identification, how to effectively use a turkey call, turkey habitat and camouflage. Rogue Watershed District Biolgist Steve Niemela will be on site to talk to the participants about turkey management and biology.
Use equipment provided by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife at the shotgun range activity. Shotgun coaches will be available to coach on firearm technique, patterning, and safety. Do not bring your own shotgun or ammo - we will provide the equipment.
The archery station will be available. Whether its your first time or you just want to practice archery skills and techniques,we'll have a hands on archery activity to help.
