Opportunities abound from Summer Lake Wildlife Area, the Warner, Hart and Steens mountains to the Owyhee River Gorge. Vast tracts of public lands mean there's no shortage of opportunity. Predominately sage steppe landscape makes excellent habitat for pheasant, quail and chukars. And where there's water, waterfowl will flock to it. This is the area for the explorer in you.
