ODFW holds June 16 public meeting on commercial market squid

NEWPORT, Ore. – ODFW is holding a June 16 public meeting to evaluate the commercial market squid fishery. Oregon commercial squid fishers, producers and interested public are encouraged to attend.
The meeting is held from 1 – 3 p.m. at Hatfield Marine Science Center in the Guin Library Seminar Room, 2030 SE Marine Science Dr., Newport with virtual and teleconference options.
ODFW commercial fishery staff will give a brief presentation on the current fishery and monitoring results followed by discussion and feedback on fishery management or other topics of interest. Those attending by phone can request an electronic copy of the presentation by calling 541-961-8135.
