ODFW hosts 2027-29 Budget Open House on May 12

SALEM, Ore.— ODFW will host an open house on Tuesday, May 12 from 2-4 p.m. to discuss development of its 2027-29 Agency Request Budget.

The meeting will be hosted in ODFW's headquarters classroom (4034 Fairview Industrial Drive, SE, Salem) and will be streamed online via YouTube.

In Oregon, state agency budgets are developed every two years. The two-year budget period begins on July 1 of odd-numbered years and concludes on June 30 of the next odd-numbered year. State agencies submit their budget requests to the Governor who creates a Recommended Budget for consideration by the Oregon legislature.

This is the Agency's second Budget Open House Gathering and the meeting will focus on the Agency's proposed policy option packages which will build upon the projected current service level budget. During the meeting, Agency staff will also provide additional information relating to the 2027-29 Agency Request Budget, timelines, and next steps.

Anyone interested in hearing more about ODFW's 2027-29 budget development efforts is invited to attend.

Virtual participants can submit questions and comments through this form which can be found on the ODFW Budget  webpage along with other information about ODFW's development of the 2027-29 budget. Submissions will be monitored and questions responded to as time allows during the meeting.

The meeting presentation and a recording will be posted online after the meeting.
