ROSEBURG, Ore. – Learn how to hunt waterfowl or sharpen your skills in one of three waterfowl hunting workshops in Southern Oregon offered by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. ODFW hunter education specialists are teaching the workshops:

The interactive class outfits you with basic knowledge to confidently pursue ducks and other waterfowl on your own. The classroom session covers waterfowl hunting seasons, regulations, habitat, and duck hunting techniques.

Attendees will learn how to find prime waterfowl hunting areas, develop calling techniques to bring ducks within range, take home a duck call, and know what specific gear is essential for waterfowl hunting.

Classes are $15 and registration deadline is Oct. 2. Check the MyODFW Workshop & Events page for more information and register for a class. For questions, call 503-947-6002 or email hunter.recruitment@odfw.oregon.gov
