Fish consumption advisories
The Oregon Health Authority has issued consumption guidelines for parts of the Columbia River due to high levels of mercury and/or PCBs. Fish with these chemicals look, act, smell and taste like any other fish, so caution is important.

Bonneville Pool: Weely checking showed 10 sublegal and one over-legal sturgeon released for three boats (17 anglers).
The Dalles Pool: Weekly checking showed one sublegal sturgeon released for one boat (four anglers).
John Day Pool: Weekly checking showed one sublegal, 41 legal, and two over-legal sturgeon released for one boat (six anglers).
Walleye
Lower Columbia River (below Bonneville Dam): No report.
Bonneville Pool: No report.
The Dalles Pool: Weekly checking showed 66 walleye kept and five walleye released for 10 boats (nine anglers).
John Day Pool: Weekly checking showed 98 walleye kept and 51 walleye released for 11 boats (26 anglers).
