Waterfowl hunting workshops coming to Klamath Falls, Medford, Roseburg

ROSEBURG, Ore. – Learn how to hunt waterfowl or sharpen your skills in one of three waterfowl hunting workshops in Southern Oregon offered by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. ODFW hunter education specialists are teaching the workshops:
- Oct. 3: Klamath Falls, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., Klamath Wildlife Area, 1850 Miller Island Rd. W.
- Oct. 4: Medford, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Sportsman's Warehouse, 1710 Delta Waters Rd.
- Oct. 5, Roseburg, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., ODFW office, 4192 N Umpqua Hwy.
The interactive class outfits you with basic knowledge to confidently pursue ducks and other waterfowl on your own. The classroom session covers waterfowl hunting seasons, regulations, habitat, and duck hunting techniques.
Attendees will learn how to find prime waterfowl hunting areas, develop calling techniques to bring ducks within range, take home a duck call, and know what specific gear is essential for waterfowl hunting.
