Replacement Hunter Safety Education card request

If you have already completed ODFW Hunter Safety and need a replacement physical card.

• Paying the $10 fee adds you to a processing roster. ODFW staff will verify your certification and mail a replacement hard card to the address listed in your VEM profile.

Most Oregon hunters do not need a replacement card. Digital proof is available in your VEM profile, where a valid paper certificate (pdf) will be available to print and present:

  You will need to create a VEM account if you have not already done so.

What happens if ODFW is unable to find my hunter education record?

If your hunter safety education record is not found, you must re-take the course to receive a new hunter safety education certificate number and a card will automatically be ordered. 

ODFW approved online course *(youth 17 and under will also need to complete a required in-person field day). Upon completion, a valid paper certificate (pdf) will be available to print and present. Login to your VEM account
