Using MyODFW.com
Due to customer demand for a more modern, easier-to-navigate website, ODFW is introducing MyODFW.com. This new mobile-friendly website was designed with the hunting, fishing and wildlife viewing customer in mind.
If you’re looking for information about how-to and where-to enjoy the outdoors, the latest fishing, hunting and viewing conditions, upcoming workshops and events, or seasons and regulations before you go, you’re in the right place.
If you’re looking for news releases, the Conservation Strategy and other conservation documents, or information about an upcoming Commission meeting, please visit the ODFW agency website at odfw.com.
Explore the new website a bit. Visit a few pages and you’ll immediately notice some of this website’s features:
- In-season regulations updates have moved to the top of the Recreation Report. We know how important it is that regulation changes are easy to find. Now they’re included in the Rec Report, and are the first thing you see when you open a zone page.
- An enhanced search function has replaced lists of links. Instead, use the search function to find the information you're looking for. Hunting statistics, where to crab or clam, best family fishing places -- there's an article for that.
- Where-to and how-to, harvest statistics, dam counts, hunter education programs and other information is now published as articles. Go to the Articles link at the very top of every page and filter all articles by topic, or use the search function to find something more specific.
- It’s responsive, allowing you to view it easily on your phone, tablet or desktop computer. Imagine checking legal shooting hours on your phone.
- Navigation is easy. From the home page, it’s simple to find your way to Fishing, Crabbing and Clamming, Big Game Hunting, Game Bird Hunting and Wildlife Viewing.
- The weekly Recreation Report is now front and center (front and far left actually). The Rec Report is one of the most popular sections of our website, so we’ve brought it forward and made it even easier to find.
- The Rec Report is now organized into five activity groups – Fishing, Crabbing and Clamming, Big Game Hunting, Game Bird Hunting and Wildlife Viewing. Once you decide on an activity, you can select the zone or area where you’d like to go. It’s the same great information we’ve always had, just arranged a little differently.
- The trout stocking schedule is be searchable by district or waterbody.
We’d love to hear what you think of this new website. Take a look around and send your comments to odfw.web@state.or.us. Let us know what you like (so we'll know what works) and what you don’t (so we can try to fix it).
