2025-26 Eastside Habitat Conditions Update
Updated October 21, 2025. All units now have adequate water to support the number of hunters drawn in the controlled hunt drawing.
2025-26 Season's Eastside Reservation Summary
Reservation permits are obtained through the controlled hunt draw process. Unfilled reservations are available to hunters without reservations on a first-come, first-serve basis the day of at the check station. Information on the number of reservations available for each hunt period and the number of first choice applicants is available for hunters looking to better understand the reservation system.

Game bird harvest
After each hunt day, two types of harvest reports are posted, a Season Summary and a Daily Harvest report. The Season Summary report shows an overview of duck harvest by unit and blind for the season to-date. The daily harvest reports show the number of hunters, duck and goose harvest, and ducks per hunter for that specific day. Both these reports include hunt data for the Eastside, Westside, and Oak Island hunt areas.
