With dove and quail seasons beginning Sept. 1, some waterfowl seasons extending through January, and spring turkey available through the end of May, game bird hunting in Oregon is almost (but not quite) a year-round activity.

2 From Dec. 1 - Jan. 31, 2023 hunting is allowed only on private lands by permission. Private lands are any lands not owned or controlled by any state, county, or federal agency.
3 All allotted and/or tribal lands inside the exterior boundary of the Umatilla Indian Reservation are not open to hunting (see map).
4 Each turkey tag allows the harvest of one bird.
