Bowhunter Education Field Day only - Island City (La Grande)

Participants must take the Bowhunter Education online course to attend this Bowhunter Education Field Day. This is the hands-on certification Field Day for Bowhunters and is recognized by all other States to meet their requirements

This course teaches bowhunters the fundamentals of safe and responsible archery hunting and an appreciation and respect for the environment in which they hunt. The course is hands-on, and students will be required to shoot their own bows and arrows during the class.  

• Safe (by following all bowhunting safety rules)
• Responsible (about bowhunting, wildlife, conservation, and bowhunting laws)
• Knowledgeable (by knowing and demonstrating acceptable behavior and attitudes while bowhunting)
• Involved (in joining and participating in bowhunting and conservation organizations)

HOW TO REGISTER AND SIGN-UP:

You will be directed to the ODFW Electronic Licensing System Login Page, https://odfw.huntfishoregon.com/login

Login with your information if you already have an account.

If you have never logged in, use Verify/Look Up to find your account if you’ve had a hunting or fishing license or signed up for any of our programs in the past. If you are a new ODFW customer, use Create an Account.

After you have logged in, click “Purchase from the Catalog”.

Top Left at "All Categories" Scroll down to Class/Workshop. 

Click "Bowhunting" and find the event you want.

Click “Add”.

If you are done with your purchase, click “Proceed to Checkout” to complete your purchase.
