Bowhunter Sight-in and preseason prep 3D course - La Pine

ODFW, Three Rivers Archers Club, and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers has teamed up to offer a free-to-the-public bowhunter's preseason 3D course. This unique course will offer hunting scenarios and learning opportunities to help you prepare for the upcoming season.‌

Experienced and accomplished bowhunters will be on site to help you through these scenarios as well as provide advice on setups, hunting strategies, and anything else you may ask. A sight-in range with targets from 20 to 80 yards is available before you hit the 3D trail.‌

o Hunting scenario 3D course.‌

o Sighting-in archery range with targets out to 80 yards.‌

o Educational opportunities for season prep and hunt plans.‌

o Opportunity to measure arrow weight, draw weight, and bow speed.‌

o Broadhead targets

o Unique scoring for competition (10, 8, -1)‌

o Opportunity to engage with BHA about public land advocacy‌

o Three Rivers Archers program for families looking to get into bowhunting‌

o Opportunity to get involved with ODFW's learn to hunt and fish workshops

Come shoot the course for fun, compete with your hunting buddies, or learn from experienced bowhunters. All are welcome.‌
