Southern Oregon Turkey Hunting Workshop - Roseburg

This workshop is designed to teach new and beginner adult hunters everything they need to know about pursuing wild turkeys.

The session begins with a classroom lecture covering turkey hunting seasons, regulations, habitat, and essential gear. Participants will then rotate through three hands-on breakout sessions:

  • Calling Practice – Learn how, when, and why to call turkeys.
  • Hunter's Trail – A guided walkthrough of turkey hunting techniques, decoy placement, and must-have equipment.
  • Shotgun Setup – Pattern your shotgun, understand ammunition selection, and adjust your sights for a successful hunt.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have the knowledge and confidence to head into the field and apply what they've learned. If you've ever wanted to learn how to hunt turkeys, this workshop is the perfect way to start!
