Hunt, Fish, Explore Oregon
Bi-Mart and Pabst Brewing Co. have partnered with ODFW to create a ‘Case for Conservation,' which is a unique way for you to support conservation efforts of Oregon's at-risk species. You can support these species by purchasing a ‘Case for Conservation' (30 pack case of Pabst) exclusively available at Bi-Mart now through September 15, 2025. Pabst will donate $1 per case sold to conservation efforts of Oregon's at-risk species at the Oregon Wildlife Foundation. This partnership helps ODFW, Bi-Mart, and Pabst raise awareness about the species in need and celebrate the fish and wildlife that contribute to make Oregon a wonderful place to live and recreate.

From July 4 - Labor Day (Sept. 1, 2025), vehicles will need a free Sauvie Island Beaches Pass in addition to the Wildlife Area Parking Permit ($10 daily) to park on weekends and holidays at the beaches' parking lots—Walton Beach, Collins Beach, Willow Bar and North Unit. A check station will be in effect on some weekends and holidays to check vehicles for the Pass and Permit.
Get your Beaches Pass and Parking Permit before coming to the island on weekends and holidays. Purchase online or by visiting a license sale agent.

Young animals are rarely orphaned, so leave them where you find them. Chances are, mom is nearby watching and waiting for you to go away.

Each year, ODFW stocks millions of trout in the state's ponds, lakes and reservoirs for anglers to catch and keep. If you're new to fishing, check out the Start fishing article for tips. And check the Recreation Report for current conditions.
