Pioneer and other licenses for seniors

Pioneer and other licenses are available for senior hunters and anglers at a reduced cost.

Pioneer combination license

Includes a hunting and fishing license, and the Columbia River Basin Endorsement

Cost: $6

To qualify: You must be an Oregon resident for at least six months immediately prior to applying for this license, be 65 years of age or older this year, and have resided in Oregon for not less than 50 years prior to the date of application.

First time applicants may either:

Or, visit their local ODFW office to complete the application.

By signing the application, you are legally attesting that you meet the requirements to qualify. No additional documentation is necessary.

To renew current license: Renew your license online, at an ODFW license vendor or office that sells licenses.

Senior licenses

Cost:

  • Fishing: $27
  • Hunting: $21.50
  • Combination fishing and hunting: $44.50

To qualify: You must be at least 70 years old and an Oregon resident for at least 5 years.

To purchase: Purchase wherever and however you purchase a regular license: online, at an ODFW license vendor or office that sells licenses.
