Pioneer and other licenses for seniors
Pioneer and other licenses are available for senior hunters and anglers at a reduced cost.
Pioneer combination license
Includes a hunting and fishing license, and the Columbia River Basin Endorsement
Cost: $6
To qualify: You must be an Oregon resident for at least six months immediately prior to qualifying for this license, be 65 years of age or older this year, and have resided in Oregon for not less than 50 years prior to the date of application.
Customers who meet the pioneer qualifications will automatically be granted the status in the electronic license system. However, customers must confirm that their profile reflects the correct total number of years they have lived in the state for the pioneer status to apply to their profile.
By confirming the information, you are legally attesting that you meet the pioneer requirements.

To qualify: You must be at least 70 years old and an Oregon resident for the last 5 years.
