2023-24 Eastside Habitat Conditions Update

Updated October 30, 2023. Due to mechanical breakdowns in the wildlife area's pumping infrastructure, we had not been able flood some Eastside units to desired levels during Period A. However, temporary pumps and rainfall ‌‌‌have allowed us to bring water levels in all Eastside units up to desired levels for Period B.‌

2023-24 Season's Eastside Reservation Summary

Reservation permits are obtained through the controlled hunt draw process. Unfilled reservations are available to hunters without reservations on a first-come, first-serve basis the day of at the check station. Information on the number of reservations available for each hunt period and the number of first choice applicants is available for hunters looking to better understand the reservation system.
